The Caribbean comprises more than 7,000 islands, islets and reefs. With its tropical climate you can find rainforest, deserts and mountainous islands.

Politically, socially and economically, the Caribbean is a large and diverse region. With much infrastructure in place (created during the oil boom of the 1970's) more is required to meet the demands of a modern, thriving economy.
